George Washington’s Mount Vernon

Frying Pan Farm Park

Cedar Hill – The Frederick Douglass Historical Site

Visit where the famous 19th century African American, Frederick Douglas, home where he escaped to freedom to. Douglass was born into slavery in Maryland 1818, but twenty years later he escaped to freedom after working on a ship.
