Drywood Termite

Example of Drywood Termite

Drywood Termites are light yellow to black with clear or smoky gray wings. They are approximately 7/16 inch long. Wings of the Drywood Termite have three heavy veins along the front edge of the forewing with crossveins near the tip make trapezoidal shapes. Infested wood can also be used to identify exactly which kind of termite you’re dealing with.

Termites are cryptic creatures and infestations can go undetected for years as they hide under floors and inside walls, causing expensive damage to your residence. This is definitely a job for trained professionals who have experience in finding and eradicating termite problems.
