Bed bugs do not fly or jump, but they are excellent hitchhikers that travel by clinging to luggage, purses, clothing, backpacks, and furniture. Visiting an infested location can unknowingly bring them into your home.

They are commonly picked up from hotels, schools, offices, theaters, public transportation, and even friends’ homes. Once inside, they hide in dark spaces and emerge at night to feed.
