Vacuum Everything

Fleas reproduce fast! They lay hundreds to thousands of eggs and the larvae can develop anywhere into adulthood. Carpets with a lot of fibers in them are a particular favorite breeding area for fleas, so vacuuming your home regularly will prevent the possibility of a larger infestation.

Fleas love cool and humid environments, so these should be areas you focus on. Be sure to also target all the areas of your home which do not get a lot of direct sunlight.

Once you have completely filled up the vacuum bag, it’s time to properly dispose  it. You cannot rely on simply throwing the vacuum bag in your dustbin inside your living room. Place the vacuum bag in a plastic bag and throw it in the trash outside your home. You should not take any chances of letting them find their way back inside your home.
