Protect Yourself

• Make sure that the nest is not disturbed while you are spraying it. If you cause any kind of damage to the nest itself, you can expect a hoard of the hornets to envelop you in a matter of a few minutes. They take their hard work of constructing the nest very seriously, so you can expect no mercy from them when your attacking their nest, no matter what time of day it is.
• When you are dealing with hornets and Yellow Jackets, it is recommended that you wear a full body wasp suit. It is the only thing which can protect you from the barrage of angry hornet stings that can potentially come your way.
• Standing directly underneath a hornet’s nest will increase your chances of getting stung by them.
