Standing Bodies of Water

Mosquito infestations begin near places that have standing water because this is where mosquitos breed.  They lay their eggs in the water and, after some time, the eggs will hatch creating a whole new generation of breeding mosquitos.

Be sure to remove any and all buckets filled with water. Never leave old buckets filled with water lying around. Plastic sheets, old tires, and old containers that might have standing water also need to be taken care of. Other likely breeding grounds are trashcans, outdoor faucets that drip water, badly drained areas, and tarps. This will help prevent a mosquito issue from getting out of hand.
