Nocturnal Combat
At night time, these insects are inactive and in their nests. This means you can get most of them while they are at the nest itself.
When you are taking the fight to their home ground, you need to go in prepared. Even when they are inactive, you absolutely must wear safety equipment. Long sleeved shirts, bee hats, coveralls, googles, gloves and the whole package.
There are some spraying products which you can get from your local store to help eliminate them. Spray as little as you can and avoid spraying on any of your plants and trees because it can be very harmful for them. Leave the treated wasp nest over night – this will make sure that even the worker wasps which may have been away from the nest will come into contact with the spray and die.
**Make sure that you clean up the area the next day as the oil base of the spray can harm your walls.
